Museum open all year

Summer hours (May to October):

  • Wednesday through Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Monday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Closed Tuesday

Winter hours: Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday 1 pm to 5 pm

Current Events

Saturday, June 21

Celebrate National Aboriginal Day at the Museum. Bring your Aboriginal or Metis items to display that day. Share your own history with the Town. There will be First Nation dancers and other events in the afternoon.

Canada Day, Monday, June 30

At 9 p.m. the gates open to the lower Museum grounds for an outdoor Family Film night. Greenwood Neighbourhood Place is sponsoring an outdoor film showing of family-rated movies. Movies start at 10 p.m. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs.

Tuesday, July 1

Flag-raising ceremony and "O, Canada" at noon. Events and demonstrations all day. Children's games, face painting. New inductees into the Women of Aspenland display. A special Farmer's Market at the Elks Hall from noon to 4 p.m. ALL EVENTS are FREE.

"Chester Mjolsness' World of Wildlife" Exhibit on now at the Museum!
